This is a new type of bread I started making last fall, per a customer request.  It turned out to be one of my best Holiday sellers! 
This particular Stritzel is cocoa and poppyseed.

From what I have read there are a number of different fillings you can use to make up your stritzel.  I tried another one with weekend.  It's still in the naming process...

My kids call it "Apple Pie Bread"

It needs some tweaking yet...it's not quite the consistency that I like.

I would love the recipe for this namesake-bread/cake. I knew that Stritzel meant fine bread (Austrian ancestry) but have never seen a recipe for it.
